Custom furniture are typically commissioned pieces that are specific to an installation or project. 

Custom furniture must be ordered at the Showroom in Seattle.  The order process includes one or two meetings to determine scope, design details, price quote and delivery date.  Many decisions are agreed upon via phone and/or email.  Before the required deposit is placed, a shop drawing is produced that summarizes the final design.  Contact me for more information. 

Designs are contemporary.  They place an emphasis on function, clean lines and simplicity.

Materials used cover a very wide range:

• Recovered timber from the Pacific Northwest and Asia
• Recycled architectural elements from the US, China, Japan and the Philippines.  Or, use your own piece.
• Antiques such as small Japanese tansu that are incorporated into side tables.  Again, use your own piece.

Work that includes steel is all done in Seattle.  Welding and finishing are, by all accounts, some of the best you will see anywhere.

There are several custom designs that will soon be offered on an "in stock" basis.  That is, they will be available right off the floor.  These include benches and side tables.  Size, height and tops will be limited to stock-on-hand.  Details will be announced on this website 3rd quarter, 2007
