October 6, 2008 The Rom Lee Designs website will be undergoing changes during the next few months. To start, the "New Work" gallery has been added to feature recently completed commissions. Next, the "Gallery" will be reorganized to make it easier to navigate and view images of custom furniture, design solutions and installations. In addition, a "Services" section will be added to highlight repair and renovation services that are currently offered and to be expanded this year and in 2009. A recent "Road Trip" took them to the South Lake Union neighborhood. Thank you, Robin and Christian! *Robin, is the "Paint Princess" of Daly's Paint and Decorating in Seattle. Christian is a well known interior designer in Seattle. Together they are the Design Files Dynamic Duo. NORTHWEST DESIGNER SHOWCASE October 5 - November 17, 2007 Glenn Richards, 964 Denny Way, Seattle, WA Glenn Richards presents a gallery showing of rooms individually designed by four of Seattle's best: Lisa Staton, Kathleen Williams, Rachel Marez of Fix Design, Christian Ursino and Rom Lee The living room (by Lisa Staton), bedroom and garden (Kathleen Williams), dining room (Christian Ursino), bathroom (Rachel Marez) are unique expressions of each designer. The footprint of each room is patterned on those of the ever growing number of condominiums and townhomes in the South Lake Union neighborhood. The showcase demonstrates how integrating great design into downtown living spaces can result in a home where you would really want to live. Special thanks to Robin Daly for the custom C2 paint used in all the Showcase rooms. The Showcase is sited in Drop City Gallery, located on the lower level of Glenn Richards (and adjacent to the Rom Lee Designs showroom). Update The Showcase opening reception was the evening of October 5. 200 guests were the first to view the rooms and meet the designers as well as partake of food and beverages catered by Qube Restaurant. By any account, the Showcase is a great event and, hopefully, one worth repeating annually. |
